Telehealth Unit Deployment Checklist – Example


An “A through Z” technology deployment checklist example--starting with receipt of the order from the patient’s doctor and ending with notifying the technology inventory manager to deploy the equipment to the patient’s home. This tool helps determine equipment needed by each patient and can initiate equipment tracking for inventory control. Use this tool prior to the home visit for equipment installation and complete after delivery and set-up.


This tool is appropriate for both clerical and/or clinical staff responsible for technology deployment and inventory management.

Helpful Tips

This checklist may be used in conjunction with other inventory management tools and installation checklists relative to the level of staff used for monitor set-ups and how inventory is managed; i.e., stand-alone or in conjunction with existing terminal cleaning and inventory control systems.
